Chuck Evans has been with Seedcopa since 2004. Prior to joining the CDC, Chuck spent twenty years in commercial banking, with both Wachovia Bank in Charlotte, NC and Meridian Bank in Philadelphia, PA as both a commercial lender and in management. Under his supervision, Seedcopa has grown from $4 million in closings in 2004 to $37 million in closings and is now outsourcing SBA 7a services to community banks.
Tom Dowling has been in commercial banking and SBA lending for 12 years first with Keystone Financial and Sovereign Bank. He is proficient in all facets of commercial and SBA lending.
Sherwood Robbins has been in commercial banking and SBA lending for 10 years with Meridian Bank, Berkshire Bank and Sovereign Bank. He is proficient in all facets of commercial and SBA lending. He is also an experienced trainer.
Christie Scheele formerly managed the back office SBA operations for Sovereign Bank, one of the largest SBA lending institutions in the country. She is knowledgeable in handling all aspects of loan applications and processing, servicing requests and performing pre and post closing file reviews. Christie is also well versed in SBA audits and liquidation file preparation.
Kathy Hugill served closing and servicing specialist with First National Bank of Chester County and First Financial Bank. She is responsible for Seedcopa loan closings and servicing.
Linda Mulgrew has worked directly for Seedcopa since 2005 initially performing all of the processing, closing and servicing tasks. She is now responsible for processing 504 loans.
John Musser now with Seedcopa, was the SBA liquidation chief of the Philadelphia District Office for nearly twenty five years. He personally handled hundreds of workout/liquidation cases as well as directing the activity of staff liquidators. John worked with many of the local Banks during his tenure at SBA and had considerable success negotiating workout accounts. He has significant experience conducting UCC and foreclosure sales and as well as appearing as an expert witness in Bankruptcy Court. Additionally, he is well versed in the handling of SBA servicing, liquidation and buy-back procedures. John currently is Seedcopa Portfolio Manager and responsible for credit administration.
The Seedcopa staff has specialized experience in small business lending, SBA lending and economic development lending. SBA lending and outsourcing functions are statewide. In addition to the SBA related activities listed above, the Seedcopa team is responsible for the loan portfolio of the Chester County Economic Development Council which serves and an “Area Loan Organization” for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The Seedcopa team manages the DCED loan programs for CCEDC, serves as a fund manager for the Building PA loan program and underwrites the HUD 108 loans offered through Chester County.
